Course Objectives
This course trains participants in the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a technique used to improve children's social, communication, and learning skills. Learn how to design and effectively implement behavioral intervention programs.
Course Content
ABA theory and basic concepts (Lesson 1): Introduce the basic principles of applied behavior analysis, such as behavioral reinforcement, extinction and functional analysis, and understand the application of ABA in improving behavior problems and enhancing adaptive behavior. Behavior Assessment and Data Collection (Lesson 2): Learn how to conduct behavioral assessment and master the methods of collecting behavioral data, such as recording frequency, duration and intensity, to provide data support for designing intervention plans. Design of individualized behavioral intervention plans (Lesson 3): Learn how to design individualized behavioral intervention plans based on behavioral assessment results, including strategies such as positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, and alternative behavior training. Practical exercises and case discussions (Lesson 4): Students will participate in practical exercises to simulate behavioral intervention situations and make plan adjustments. Through case analysis, discuss how to apply ABA techniques in different environments to achieve sustained and effective behavioral improvement.
