Course Objectives
This course introduces the core principles of the Montessori method and its application in early childhood education. Learn how to create a learning environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and a passion for learning.
Course Content
Theoretical Basis of Montessori Teaching Method (Lesson 1): Introduce the core principles of Montessori educational philosophy, such as self-directed learning, sensory training and environmental preparation, and understand their impact on children's independent learning. The use and implementation of Montessori teaching aids (Lesson 2): Learn how to use Montessori teaching aids to stimulate children's curiosity and exploration ability, and master the application methods of teaching aids in Chinese, mathematics, sensory training, etc. Montessori Classroom Environment Design (Lesson 3): Explore how to design a Montessori classroom environment that is conducive to children's growth, and learn how to arrange teaching aids and design learning spaces to promote children's independence and concentration. Practical exercises and observation skills (Lesson 4): Students will conduct practical exercises, simulate the use of Montessori teaching aids for teaching, and learn how to observe and record children's learning process to provide reference for individualized teaching.
