To enable students to understand the knowledge and skills of preparing meals for the elderly with different swallowing needs in institutions, so as to enhance their employment competitiveness

Course Content

". Understand the physiological conditions of the elderly . Taboos for the Elderly in Eating and Preparing Meals . Dietary principles and characteristics of common meals for the elderly . Kitchen knowledge, food safety and hygiene and infection control . Meal preparation for the elderly"

Admission Requirements

"1/ Have half a year or more of kitchen-related work experience; or intend to switch to a job in a related industry, with a Secondary 3 degree; and 2/ Have work experience"

Training Period

26 hours (3 hours per class, 9 classes in total)

Tuition Fee

$0 (tuition exemption) / $525 (high financial aid) / $1750 (general financial aid)

Remark

"Tuition Waiver/Subsidy . Applicants with no income or monthly income of $14,000 or less can apply for ""fee exemption"" (attendance rate must reach 80%) . Those with a monthly income of $14,001-22,000 can apply to pay ""highly subsidized tuition fees"" (attendance rate must reach 80%) . Those with a monthly income of $22,001 or above are required to pay ""general subsidized tuition fees"" Remark . Students who are currently studying or enrolling in ""Part-time Non-Employment-Linked Programs"" may enroll in or enroll in more than one ""Part-time Non-Employment-Linked Programs"" at the same time."
