Course Objectives
"To enable students to master the basic knowledge and practical skills of physical therapy nursing related work, so as to Assist physical therapists in rehabilitating patients."
Course Content
". Common neurological diseases (including: stroke, Parkinson's disease) . Tips on using wheelchairs and walkers . Ways to prevent falls . Lifting and transfer skills . Disease pathology, related treatment concepts and nursing methods (stroke, Parkinson's disease, chronic obstructive disease, rehabilitation of heart disease, global developmental delay in children, spasticity, etc.) . Prevent the sequelae of long-term bed rest and lack of activity"
Admission Requirements
"i. Medical and health care practitioners; or those who intend to change careers in related industries, have Secondary 5 level and have work experience, or have Secondary 3 level and have two or more years of work experience Experienced persons; and ii. Completed the ""Basic Certificate in Physiotherapy Nursing Skills I (Physiotherapy Instrument Understanding) (Part-time)"" course"

Remark
"Tuition Waiver/Subsidy . Applicants with no income or monthly income of $14,000 or less can apply for ""fee exemption"" (attendance rate must reach 80%) . Those with a monthly income of $14,001-22,000 can apply to pay ""highly subsidized tuition fees"" (attendance rate must reach 80%) . Those with a monthly income of $22,001 or above are required to pay ""general subsidized tuition fees"" Remark . Students who are currently studying or enrolling in ""Part-time Non-Employment-Linked Programs"" may enroll in or enroll in more than one ""Part-time Non-Employment-Linked Programs"" at the same time."
